Masseur charged with sexual assault

A 40-year-old man has been charged with three offences following an incident at a shopping centre massage business on Saturday.

A woman attended the Belconnen business on Saturday afternoon (8 July 2023) for a massage. It will be alleged in court the man then sexually assaulted the woman in the course of the massage.  

The 40-year-old has been charged with two counts of sexual assault without consent and one count of act of indecency without consent. 

Police are urging any victims of sexual assault to report these criminal activities.

You can also submit an online report for historical sexual assault for incidents that occurred more than six months ago.
