Tomorrow is International Missing Children’s Day – a day where we remember those children currently missing in Australia.

Tomorrow is International Missing Children’s Day – a day where we remember those children currently missing in Australia.

As part of this, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) National Missing Person’s Coordination Centre are running the very first Missing Youth Forum tomorrow at the Australian Institute of Sport.

The “Missing Youth Forum: educate, support, prevent” is an opportunity for law enforcement and support services to directly work with primary school aged kids to ensure they  are familiar with support services they can turn to, and options available to them as they approach their teenage years and become statistically high-risk of going missing.

AFP Commissioner Andrew Colvin will open the event and be available for questions afterwards.
