Men to face court for multiple offences following arrest in Hackett

Two men will face the ACT Magistrates court today (Saturday, 3 March 2018) following their apprehension in Hackett.

At about 7.20pm last night members of ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations Team were conducting a mobile patrol in Hackett when they saw two men run to a vehicle and attempt to evade police.

A short time later the men were stopped by police on Antill St and placed under arrest.

A 21-year-old man was subsequently charged with multiple driving offences and breach of bail. A 20-year-old that was also in the vehicle will face court to answer to a first instance warrant issued by the court.
