Men to face court for trafficking MDMA

ACT Policing continue to target and disrupt criminal activity within our community.

Early Sunday morning (2 September 2018), ACT Policing were conducting a mobile patrol in the City when they were alerted to two suspicious males who appeared to be engaging in illicit drug activity.

A short time later, police attended Petrie Plaza and spoke with them.

A search of the males revealed 96 suspected MDMA tablets, a quantity of cash and drug dealing paraphernalia. A further search of the immediate area revealed another 22 suspected MDMA tablets.

Both men will be summonsed to the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information relating to illicit drug activity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
