Police blitz over Easter Period

ACT Policing is urging motorists to drive safely over the Easter long weekend and warns that double demerit points will be in place from the first instance on Thursday, 13 April until last instance on Monday, 17 April 2017.

The roads in and out of Canberra will be extremely busy over the Easter break and ACT Policing is urging all drivers to take responsibility for safety on our roads.

Police are urging those travelling interstate this Easter long weekend not to drive when fatigued and remember to take regular breaks every two hours. Be patient on our roads and take extra care getting to your destination so that you arrive safely and can enjoy the Easter break.
