Police investigate collision in Bruce

ACT Policing is investigating a two-vehicle collision which occurred on Ginninderra Drive in Bruce yesterday (Sunday 16 March 2014).

About 1.15pm, a two vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Ginninderra Drive and Braybrooke St, Bruce.

A green Daewoo Nubira station wagon driven by a 52-year-old male was travelling west on Ginninderra Drive approaching the intersection at Braybrooke St when, for reasons yet to be determined, the vehicle left the roadway prior to reaching the intersection. The vehicle travelled across the centre median, collided with a traffic light on the western side of the intersection and continued a short distance before colliding with a second vehicle which sustained minor damage.

ACT Ambulance Service attended and transported the driver of the Daewoo to The Canberra Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
