Police investigate death at Thoroughbred Park

ACT Policing is investigating the death of a 22-year-old woman following an incident at Thoroughbred Park on Tuesday, 28 February.

Police were alerted to the incident around 9.00am where a young woman had fallen from a horse. The woman was transferred to The Canberra Hospital and has unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations are conducting a joint investigation with WorkSafe ACT and will prepare a report for the Coroner.

Investigations are ongoing.
