Police investigate drowning at Casuarina Sands

ACT Policing is investigating the death of a 27-year-old man at Casuarina Sands this afternoon (Sunday, 25 December).

Police and ACT Ambulance Service were called to the scene, where the man was located unresponsive in the water.

ACT Policing are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death, however at this stage do not believe the death is suspicious.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

ACT Policing remind Canberrans to take care when swimming and watch out for each other when in and near the water.
