Police investigate fatal collision in Tidbinbilla

ACT Policing is investigating a single vehicle collision which occurred in Tidbinbilla last night (Wednesday, 15 November 2017), in which a male has died.

About 9.40pm, police responded to a report that a vehicle had collided with a tree on Paddys River Road, Tidbinbilla.

ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Ambulance Service attended the scene and transported the driver to Hospital.

Unfortunately, the driver died this morning (Thursday, 16 November 2017) as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.

ACT Policing's Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team (CIRT) are examining the circumstances surrounding the collision and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

This is the 6th fatality on ACT roads this year.
