Police investigate shooting in Bonython

ACT Policing is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Bonython yesterday (Sunday, 10 September).

Around 11.00am police were called to a residence in Burgoyne Street after reports that shots had been fired into a residence.

AFP Forensics and the Firearms Identification and Armory Team (FIAT) attended and conducted an examination of the scene.

Detectives from Belconnen’s Criminal Investigations team are conducting enquiries into the incident.

Police do not believe this incident to be Outlaw Motor Cycle Gang (OMCG) related.
