ACT Policing is investigating a number of burglaries across Canberra since Monday (30 January 2017).

Between 3am and 6am on Monday 30 January, police responded to burglaries at six businesses; Coco’s Hair and The Knox in Watson, Edgar’s Inn in Ainslie, The Yacht Club in Yarralumla and The Pedlar and Avenue C Wine Co in Campbell. All the businesses were targeted by offenders who smashed windows or doors to gain entry and took property or cash.

Police suspect the same offenders may be responsible for all incidents.

In at least one incident, two males used an axe to break a window of the property.

The first male is described as wearing a white T-shirt and jeans. The second male is described as a wearing long sleeve hooded jumper with a lighter coloured hood, dark shorts and gloves.

Police believe the offenders may have driven an orange Ford or Commodore V8 vehicle from the scene.
