Police investigate suspicious death; Watson

ACT Policing is investigating the death of a man in Watson this evening (Thursday 3 November).

About 7.45pm, police were notified of a disturbance and an injured man at Windeyer Street in Watson.

ACT Ambulance Services attended but the man was declared deceased at the scene.

AFP Forensic Services are examining the scene and ACT Policing Criminal Investigations are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police are treating the death as suspicious. Investigations are ongoing.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious near Windeyer Street, Watson this evening to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
