Police investigate suspicious fire in O’Connor

A house fire in O’Connor has been deemed suspicious and handed to ACT Policing for investigation.

About 7.45am this morning (Friday, 27 November) police received a report of a house fire in Myall Street, O’Connor. 

ACT Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the fire. There was substantial damage to the house as a result of the fire. 

One male was inside the house at the time of the fire. He was not injured.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information on the cause of the fire to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously. We remind people they should not report crime information via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
