Police investigate suspicious fire in Watson

ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious fire that occurred in Watson this morning (Friday, 5 January 2018).

Just after 3.00am, police responded to a report from ACT Fire and Rescue of a residence alight on Antill Street.

Once ACT Fire and Rescue extinguished the fire, an investigation of the scene was conducted. The residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

The circumstances surrounding the fire are now being investigated by ACT Policing.

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or have information about the fire, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers website.
