Police investigating aggravated robbery in Mawson

ACT Policing is investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred at the Caltex Woolworths petrol station in Mawson last night (Friday, 23 February 2018).

At about 9.20pm, a man entered the store and made demands for cash. The man gained access to the area behind the counter and a sum of cash was stolen. No one was harmed during the incident.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm (6’) tall, with an average build, short brown hair and brown eyes. His face was partially covered with a piece of clothing.

He was last seen in a white Ford Fiesta.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
