Police investigating collision in Deakin
ACT Policing is investigating an incident where a 65-year-old driver has collided with the rear wall of the Prime Minister's Lodge this morning, Saturday (22 March).
Around 8.10am, a white Hyundai i30 with Victorian number plates driving along Grey Street, Deakin has collided with a concrete wall causing significant damage.
At this stage police are not treating the incident as suspicious but investigations are continuing. The man has been conveyed to The Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.
No one is currently residing at the lodge due to refurbishment work being undertaken.
