Police locate missing man

UPDATE: Missing man found

ACT Policing has located missing 72-year-old man Claus Plohberger safe and well.

The search for Claus began after he was reporting missing by family on 12 February and continued until he was located safe and well yesterday (Thursday, 17 March)

Police would like to thank Queensland Police, New South Wales Police, members of the public and the media for their assistance in locating Claus.

ACT Policing is asking for assistance in locating missing 72-year-old man, Claus Plohberger.

Claus was last seen by family on Friday 12 February 2016.

It is believed that Claus may be in the Mackay area in Queensland, and may be driving a white 2012 Nissan X-Trail with ACT registration number YJE28U.

Claus is described as being about 180cm (5’11”) tall, with a thin build, short grey/white hair, balding on top, olive complexion and blue eyes.

Police hold concerns for his welfare.
