Police release CCTV of Civic assault

ACT Policing has released CCTV of an assault which occurred inside McDonalds East Row in Canberra City on Saturday night (11 November 2017).

About 11.10pm a male approached the toilet inside McDonalds and argued with a female who was standing inside the door. The male forced his way through the door, pushing the female out of his way. The female was assaulted by the male inside the toilet area, receiving head and facial injuries.

Police are seeking to identify the alleged male offender who is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 5’9” tall, of slim build with short grey balding hair and grey stubble.

He was wearing a dark coloured jacket, light coloured jeans, black shoes and glasses.

Police wish to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who recognises the male in the footage.
