Police release image of Narrabundah aggravated robbery offender

ACT Policing is renewing its call for witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Narrabundah on Tuesday, 3 January 2017.

Around 7.30pm, a male entered the Friendly Grocers Store on Iluka Street, Narrabundah and threatened staff with a knife. He then jumped the counter and removed a sum of cash from the register, before fleeing on a pushbike.

Today, (Friday, 20 January) police have released an image of the offender.

The offender is described as approximately 170cm–180cm (5’7”–5’11”) tall, with a medium build.

The offender was wearing a black jacket, black pants, grey/black gloves, dark sunglasses, a black hat with a black cloth covering his face. The man was also holding a purple bag.

Criminal Investigations, Detective Acting Station Sergeant Shane Scott stressed the importance of information received from the community.

“I am urging any witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward. No matter how small the information may seem, it may be the missing piece we need. You can report anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000” Sergeant Scott said.
