Police seek witnesses to aggravated robbery in Waramanga

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage of an aggravated robbery at the Capital Chemist, Damala Street, Waramanga.

About 3:15pm yesterday (Monday, 15 January 2018), a male person entered the chemist, produced a knife and left with an amount of cash.

The male is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 165-175cm tall, aged in his 20s, short light brown or dark blonde hair and clean shaven. He was of medium to solid build, wearing a black cap, black hoodie, grey tracksuit pants and reflective sunglasses with thin metal rims.

The male left the location on foot in the direction of Damala Street, Waramanga.

ACT Policing are continuing investigations into this incident.

Police are calling for witnesses and anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the Waramanga Shopping Centre around this time or information in relation to this incident to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
