Police seek witnesses to disturbance on East Row

Approximately 5.15am on Sunday (17 December 2017) police were called to disturbance on East Row in the city.

A male was struck in the back of the head, rendering him unconscious. Following this assault, several fights broke out in the vicinity requiring police intervention.

Following the incident, six people were arrested and charged with relevant offences and a number of exclusion directions to leave the City night club precinct were issued. Police believe several others left the scene prior to speaking with police.
