ACT Policing is seeking to identify two male offenders involved in a number of instances of graffiti and property damage on Saturday morning (6 August).

About 8.30am, police were called to St Mary Mackillop College in Isabella Plains in response to reports of extensive graffiti on multiple buildings within the school grounds.

Upon arrival police noted damage to the front entrance doors, tiles, external walls and windows of the demountable and main building.

Shortly after, police attended the Isabella Plains shops on Kadina Street, where they examined further graffiti to businesses and vehicles.

Officer In Charge Tuggeranong Police Station Chris Meagher said the responding officers were appalled by the offensive nature, obscene language and images depicted in the graffiti.

“These offenders showed a complete disregard to the community and we know, the residents and business owners of Isabella Plains should not be subject to this criminal behaviour and the burden of cleaning up such senseless activity”, Station Sergeant Meagher said.

The first offender was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black pants and sneakers. The second offender wore a black hooded jumper, black pants and black shoes.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen these males in the Isabella Plains area, or have any information that might assist police, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
