Police seek witnesses to Nicholls burglary

ACT Policing are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three offenders involved in aggravated burglary in Nicholls during the early hours of Wednesday 31 December 2015.

About 4am, three offenders forced entry to the Canberra Cellars in Gold Creek on O’Hanlon Place, Nicholls. While inside, the offenders caused further damage to locked glass cabinets before stealing an amount of alcohol. The offenders then fled the premises.

The offenders are described as being a man and two women of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander appearance aged in their late teens or 20s. One female wore a black top, blue tracksuit pants and sandals while the second female wore a blue hooded jumper, yellow shorts and socks with sandals. The man wore a white and black T-shirt with white and black tracksuit pants and dark runners. The offenders covered their faces and hands with cloth during the incident.
