Police seeking public’s assistance to identify attempted robbery offenders

ACT Policing has received information from the public regarding this matter and are still keen to identify the two people described below.

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance in relation to an attempted robbery at the ladies bathrooms in the Belconnen Mall.

About 8.30pm Tuesday, 28 November 2017, a female and a male entered the ladies bathroom opposite Woolworths. The female accused the victim of stealing her mobile phone and attempted to snatch the victim’s handbag whilst the male blocked the exit, pushing the victim back into the bathroom as she tried to leave.

The offenders are believed to have left the location in a white coloured Nissan Pulsar, with number plate YKS894 (ACT registration).

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information about the incident, to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
