Police seeking witnesses to collision

Police are seeking witnesses to a collision in Gilmore yesterday (Monday 4 September) where a driver involved in the collision left the scene without providing details.

About 2.40pm, at the roundabout of Monaro Highway and Isabella Drive, a white Nissan Pulsar was involved in a collision with a silver sedan while exiting the roundabout onto the Monaro Highway.

The white Nissan Pulsar then crossed the median strip and collided with the side of a bus. The silver sedan left the scene of the collision without stopping and providing any details.

The driver of the white Nissan Pulsar suffered a serious ankle injury and was transported to hospital by ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS).

Police are urging anyone who may have information in relation to the collision, particularly information about the silver sedan, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6147968. Information can be provided anonymously.
