Progress in Watson homicide; woman extradited from NSW

A 26-year-old woman has been extradited from New South Wales to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Tuesday, 7 March 2017).

NSW Police Force arrested the woman at her home in Karabar on a first instance warrant this morning.

After appearing in the Queanbeyan Local Court, the woman was extradited to Canberra and will face the ACT Magistrates Court this afternoon.  The woman will be charged with accessory after the fact to murder (Watson homicide on Thursday 3 November 2016).

Detectives from the ACT Policing Homicide Team will be opposing bail.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information relating to the homicide that occurred on 3 November 2016 in Windeyer Street, Watson  to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
