Taskforce Nemesis extradite man from Victoria

Taskforce Nemesis has extradited a man from Victoria to the ACT over the weekend.

The 24-year-old man was arrested at Melbourne Airport while attempting to leave the country.

The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with attempted murder following a shooting incident in Calwell on Thursday, 28 June 2018.

Police will oppose bail.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information about the shooting that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
