Two assisting police after Civic assault and ‘coward punch’

Can you help?

Last week ACT Policing sought to identify three males involved in an assault of three other males, including a ‘coward punch’ attack in Civic in the early hours of Sunday 30 October 2016.

Constable Jarrad Drennan of ACT Policing’s Regional Targeting Team has said that two males have since come forward and are assisting police with their investigation.

“Police are still seeking the third offender, an associate of these males, to hand himself in at a police station,” said Constable Drennan.

The third male is described as Caucasian in appearance, 185cm (6”1’) tall, of medium build. He was wearing a pink shirt, dark trousers and a blue baseball cap.

Constable Drennan thanked those members of the public that have already provided police with valuable information.

“However, we know there are other people out there that haven’t yet come forward - a large group of people were present at the time of the assaults and coward punch attack in Bible Lane.”

“Police want to speak to each and every person in Bible Lane at the time of the assaults. If you are pictured in the CCTV footage, or witnessed these incidents, we ask that you come forward and speak with either myself or another police officer.”

If you witnessed these incidents, please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Please quote reference 6029089.
