Update - Police investigate suspicious death; Watson

ACT Policing can confirm the death of a 37-year-old man in Watson yesterday (Thursday, 3 November).

About 7.45pm, police were notified of a disturbance and an injured man at his residence in Windeyer Street in Watson.

Police attended the scene and located a man who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.

Police believe this to be a targeted incident and there is no threat to public safety.

Investigations are ongoing and the crime scene will remain in place over the weekend.
