UPDATE Police seeking witnesses to road rage incidents

Update 10 March: ACT Policing is also seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage to another alleged road rage incident police believe involved the same vehicle.

About 6.00pm on Tuesday, 14 February 2023, a black Ford Falcon station wagon was observed driving erratically on William Hovell Drive. While stopped at traffic lights at the intersection with Coulter Drive, the driver of the Falcon has allegedly got out of the vehicle and punched the rear driver’s side door of a black Toyota Prado.

These vehicles have then continued along William Hovell Drive westbound before stopping at traffic lights at the intersection of Kingsford Smith Drive and Southern Cross Drive, where the driver of the Falcon has allegedly assaulted the driver of the Prado.

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an alleged road rage incident that occurred in Belconnen on Sunday. 

About 12.15pm (Sunday, 5 March 2023) police received a report of an altercation between the driver of a grey Hyundai i30 and the driver of a black Ford Falcon station wagon.  

The first incident between the vehicles allegedly occurred at the intersection of William Hovell Drive and Coulter Drive, Molonglo Valley and then again at the intersection of Belconnen Way and Coulter Drive.  

Both drivers then drove to a nearby police station.   

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incidents or may have dash-camera footage of them.
