UPDATE Witnesses sought to alleged aggravated robbery

A 38-year-old woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Saturday, 1 December 2018), charged with aggravated robbery and drive motor vehicle without consent.

About 9.45pm last night, police received a call from a member of the public reporting the stolen vehicle was parked on Corrina Street, Phillip.

Police attended Corrina Street a short time later locating the stolen vehicle and a woman in the driver seat.

The woman was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Regional Watch House where she was charged with aggravated robbery and drive motor vehicle without consent.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance with this incident.

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an alleged aggravated robbery that occurred last night (29 November 2018) at Erindale. 

About 9pm a female employee of a restaurant located on Denigan Street was seated in her car parked a short distance from the restaurant.

A second female approached the driver, allegedly threatening her with a large kitchen knife and demanding her phone and the vehicle.

The driver exited the vehicle and ran to a nearby service station. Shortly after, the offender left the scene in the woman’s vehicle.

The alleged offender is described as a young woman, about 5’9” (175cm) tall, with blonde hair that was tied in a ponytail.

The stolen vehicle is a purple 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage with registration YKT52Y.  

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6335667. Information can be provided anonymously.
