Wanted man arrested; facing Court

A 24-year-old Holt man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Saturday, 4 March 2017) following investigations by ACT Policing and NSW Police Force.

The offender has allegedly committed numerous offences in both ACT and NSW, with NSW Police investigating instances of burglary, stolen motor vehicle and traffic charges after he was involved in a collision in a stolen motor vehicle in country NSW.

The ACT man was conveyed to The Canberra Hospital following the collision with minor injuries.

The man whose arrest was already identified as an operational priority for ACT Policing was then arrested by ACT police.

The man was conveyed to the ACT Watch House and will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday, 4 March 2017) charged with ride/drive motor vehicle without consent, drive while disqualified, unlawful possession of stolen property and three counts of obtain property by deception.

Further charges are being prepared by ACT Policing.

Police will oppose bail.
