Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery

ACT Policing is seeking to identify three male offenders after an aggravated robbery in Bonython on Friday, 23 December 2016.

Approximately 5.20pm, police were called to the Spar Express Supermarket in Bonython after two males entered the store and threatened staff with knives.

The offenders demanded cash and fled to a vehicle being driven by a third male offender. It is believed the vehicle was a white Nissan Pulsar.

At approximately 6.30pm, ACT Fire and Rescue reported a vehicle fire off Hake Street in Kambah and ACT Policing believe that it was the same vehicle used in the aggravated robbery.

Police are calling for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in relation to the aggravated robbery in Bonython or the vehicle fire in Kambah to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
