Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery in Belconnen

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that occurred at BWS Woolworths in Belconnen Mall on Sunday, 1 January 2017.

At approximately 5.30pm, a male entered the store, approached the cashier and produced a knife.

The offender proceeded to walk behind the counter, removing a sum of cash before fleeing on foot.

The offender is described as being in his mid 20’s, Caucasian in appearance and 170-175cm (5’7” – 5’9”). He was wearing a light coloured sleeve-less hoodie over a dark t-shirt with light coloured shorts and a baseball cap.
