ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Braddon last night (Friday 30 December 2016).

About 8pm, two men exited the passenger side of a white Holden Commodore and entered the Braddon Supermarket on Lowanna Street, Braddon. One man threatened a staff member with a metal pole while the second man removed the cash register. As the men fled the shop, one man pushed over a woman standing near the doorway. The men then fled in the same vehicle that they arrived in.

The vehicle is described as an older model white Holden Commodore with smashed rear windows.

ACT Policing attended along with the ACT Ambulance Service, who transported the woman to Calvary Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

AFP Forensic Services attended and examined the scene. ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations team will investigate the aggravated robbery and are seeking information from any witnesses.
