Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery in Chisholm

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that occurred at the Aldi supermarket in Chisholm yesterday (Tuesday, 6 February 2018).

About 9.45am, a male approached a member of staff at the checkout and made demands for cash. Staff complied and a sum of money was stolen. No one was harmed during the incident.

The male was last seen running towards Proctor Street, Chisholm.

The male is described as being Caucasian in appearance, in his mid 20s, about 6’0” tall and a slim build. He was wearing a black t-shirt over his face, a hoodie and grey track pants. 

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
