Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery in Wanniassa

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Wanniassa yesterday (Sunday, 24 July 2016).

Around 8.30pm two males entered the Red Rooster restaurant on the corner of Langdon Avenue and Rylah Crescent, Wanniassa and approached the front counter.

They demanded the attendant open the cash register and when the request was refused they threatened to assault the attendant.

The attendant complied with the offender’s demands and the two males left the restaurant with a small amount of cash.

The two male offenders were seen getting into a late model Toyota Camry sedan with no registration plates driving along Athlon Drive, Wanniassa.
