ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an assault that occurred in the McDonalds Restaurant carpark in Lanyon Market Place, Conder on Saturday, 8 October.

About 1.00am, the male victim was in the carpark when he was approached by two other males, who began to harass the victim.  The offender then struck the victim in the face, and continued the attack before the assault was interrupted by a bystander. The two males then fled on foot.

Police are seeking to identify the male offender and his acquaintance.

The male offender is described as approximately 5’7” (170cm) tall, in his early twenties, with a fair complexion and black/brown hair. He was wearing white t-shirt and jeans.

The second male was wearing similar clothing and is also described as approximately 5’7” (170cm) tall, also in his early twenties with a fair complexion.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident, can identify the males or have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via https://act.crimestoppers.com.au and quote reference number 6020950. Information can be provided anonymously.
