Witnesses sought to Commonwealth Avenue bridge motorcycle collision

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of a two vehicle collision on Commonwealth Avenue bridge yesterday (Tuesday, 5 March 2024). 

About 12.50pm, police and emergency services were called to a collision between a Toyota sedan and a black motorcycle on Commonwealth Avenue bridge, Barton. 

The motorcycle rider, a 31-year-old man, was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics before being transported to hospital in a serious but stable condition. 

Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision, and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash-cam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
