Witnesses sought to Gungahlin Marketplace assault

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an assault which occurred in the Big W underground carpark, in The Gungahlin Marketplace on Friday, 30 December 2016.

About 5pm, a woman was standing at the parking ticket machine near the bottom of the escalators when she was approached by another female.

The female had a short conversation with the victim before assaulting her, inflicting minor facial injuries. The victim fell to the ground and her glasses were knocked from her face, before she got up and fled the area towards the car wash.

Investigations are ongoing.
