Witnesses sought to home invasion

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated burglary that occurred at the Manhattan Apartments, Canberra City on Tuesday (March 14).

Around 21.50pm, three male offenders wearing balaclavas forced entry into the premises before threatening the two occupants. A brief scuffle ensued resulting in a male occupant suffering head injuries. He was later transported to the Canberra Hospital for treatment. A female occupant also suffered minor injuries.

All three male offenders were wearing dark clothing, two of the offenders have been identified as Caucasian in appearance. A small amount of cash was taken during the home invasion.

ACT Policing Criminal Investigations attended the scene and investigations are ongoing.
