ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to multiple burglaries in Coombs on Tuesday (6 June 2017).

Between 8.00am and 5pm, four residential premises on Arthur Blakeley Way and Gifford Street Coombs were broken into with various items taken.

Police believe these incidents are linked and investigations are ongoing.

Police wish to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen a suspicious person or vehicle.

Officer in Charge of Woden Police Station, Station Sergeant Harry Hains stressed the importance of reporting suspicious activity to police.

“The community are our eyes and ears, often it is members of the community who are the first to notice suspicious activity in their area.”

“If you see someone acting suspiciously, report it to police. Every piece of information is important no matter how small it may seem,” Sergeant Hains said.
