Witnesses sought to nightclub assault in Civic

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an assault that took place inside Mooseheads nightclub in Civic on Sunday, 8 January 2017.

About 4.10am, police responded to a report of an altercation involving a number of people, which resulted in a male victim suffering facial injuries.

The alleged offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 180cm (5’11”) to 186cm (6’1”) tall, with a medium build and short, dark coloured hair. He was wearing a long sleeved shirt, dark pants with white shoes.

ACT Policing has obtained CCTV vision of the incident and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the alleged male offender.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident, can identify the alleged offender or who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
