Witnesses sought to suspicious fire in Kambah

ACT Policing is investigating the circumstances surrounding a suspicious fire in Kambah yesterday (Thursday, 28 July).

Police arrived at a residence at Carleton Street around 11.20am after ACT Fire & Rescue extinguished the fire, which had caused extensive structural damage.

Following an examination of the scene, police and fire investigators believe the fire was deliberately lit and subsequently deemed it suspicious.

ACT Policing Criminal Investigations detectives are currently investigating the incident.

Police would also like to speak to the owner of a vehicle that had a trailer attached and was parked in the driveway of 6 Carleton Street, Kambah between 10.00am and 11.00am on Thursday (28 July).
