Witnesses sought to suspicious Hackett fire
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a suspicious fire at an administration building in Hackett on Sunday, 17 September 2023.
About 4.30am, ACT Fire & Rescue attended the fire on Maitland Street, Hackett.
ACT Fire & Rescue extinguished the fire, however the building sustained structural and smoke damage.
Following an examination of the scene, the fire was deemed suspicious, and police are now investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity on Maitland Street prior to 4.20am on Sunday, or who may have any information regarding the incident.
