Woman in court on drug possession and trafficking charges

A 25-year-old Turner woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Saturday, 14 May 2022) on drug trafficking and possession charges.

ACT Policing executed a search warrant at the woman’s Turner residence on Sunday, 8 May 2022, and located substances suspected of being cannabis, heroin, LSD, Methamphetamine and Gamma-Hydroxybutyrate (GHB).

The woman was arrested in Chisholm yesterday afternoon (Friday, 13 May 2022) and is due to appear in court this morning charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis, two counts of possessing a prohibited substance and possession of a prohibited weapon.
