Woman to face court following attempted aggravated robbery

A 22-year-old female will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning following the attempted aggravated robbery of a taxi driver on Monday, 8 January 2018.

The offender allegedly threatened the taxi driver with a weapon and demanded cash.

Following investigations and the execution of a search warrant, the 22-year-old female was apprehended by police and will today, face the ACT Magistrates court charged with attempted aggravated robbery, ride/drive a motor vehicle without consent and possess/use a prohibited weapon without authorisation.

Police will oppose bail.
