Woman to face court on multiple fraud charges

A 27 year-old Lyneham woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Friday, 25 May 2018) on multiple fraud charges.

The woman offended over a number of years with multiple victims falling prey to her catfishing scams. The victims provided her with money believing it was for medical treatment for her child.

The woman is facing numerous charges of Obtaining Property by Deception.
