Police extradite woman from NSW to face court in ACT

Facing court

ACT Policing extradited a woman from Wagga Wagga, NSW yesterday (Tuesday 21 November) to face the ACT Magistrates court today.

The 35-year-old woman failed to appear in the ACT Magistrates court in August 2015 and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

NSW Police located and arrested the woman in NSW on Monday, and ACT Police travelled to Wagga Wagga to make an application to extradite her to the ACT.

The Wagga Wagga Magistrate granted the extradition order and ACT Police conveyed the woman back to the ACT watch house yesterday.

She will face court today charged with over 40 serious offences.
