Single vehicle collision results in third fatality on ACT roads in 2019

Three people have died on our roads

ACT Policing is investigating a single vehicle collision in Page overnight.

At about 4.20am this morning (Wednesday, 26 June 2019) police received calls regarding a single vehicle collision into a tree on Belconnen Way. 

Two people were in the vehicle. The driver died at the scene and a passenger received minor injuries.

ACT Policing's Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team (CIRT) is examining the circumstances surrounding the collision and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Police are encouraging anyone who witnessed or may have dash-cam footage of the incident to contact police on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
